Rebels Fall in Return to Action

The Campbellford Rebels returned to action on Friday night visiting the second place Napanee Raiders, despite multiple changes in the lineup the Rebels fell 4-1. Newly signed goalie and former Raider Mitchell Bown made 36 saves giving the Rebels a strong chance to win the contest in his first game in the Rebels net. Jacob McPhee continued to show his worth since being acquired from the Lakefield Chiefs netting the lone Rebels goal, a shorthanded beauty. There will be no rest for the wicked, as the Rebels return to the ice Saturday night against the Picton Pirates, puck drop is at 7:30pm.
