Rebels not Thankful After the Weekend

The Campbellford Rebels are thankful that hockey is back and there are fans in the stands, but they weren’t feeling overly thankful after a weekend loss to the Napanee Raiders. The Raiders powerplay went to work on the Rebels penalty kill and skated away with a 7-2 victory. Dennis Fisher led the charge offensively netting a goal and an assist, Benny Scarr sniped the other Rebels tally, Ethan Salter continued his hot start to the season picking up 2 assists, and Dryden Minifie added one helper. Eric Martin made 46 saves in the loss, next action for the Rebels is the home opener on Saturday October 16th when they host the Amherstview Jets.
