Thomas “Tom” John Tanner: Sept 4, 1947 – Jan 29, 2021

It is with heavy hearts, that we share the passing of one of our own, Tom Tanner: An outstanding leader and coach to the Campbellford Rebels. Our deepest sympathies to the Tanner family, especially Tom's wife Glenda.

Tom co-coached the Rebels to two Empire titles in the 90's and again in the 2001-02 season. He was the team's GM from 2005-10 and a member of the executive committee for many years in between.

Our rich culture and deep community involvement is due in part to Tom; His contributions to the Campbellford Rebels will forever be the foundation for great hockey in our hometown of Campbellford. We are grateful to have known him, learned from him, and to have been mentored by him.

In keeping with Tom's wishes, cremation will take place and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made in memory of Tom to the Bridge Hospice, on behalf of the Tanner family. Memories and stories can be shared online at
